The Cleanest Dirty Fun Ever

Running through mud may sound like something your dog would love, but it turns out humans enjoy getting dirty too!  Individuals, pairs and teams are being encouraged to slip, slide and slosh their way to victory in this year’s Mud Run.

The Original Mud Run is a boot-camp style obstacle race that gives people a chance to have fun, be competitive and support physical fitness in their local communities.

“The goal is to pick communities with strong ties to their non-profit groups where we can use our event to make a difference in people’s lives,” said Vanessa Vavra, a Mud Run representative.

A portion of this year’s event will benefit Agape Animal Rescue and New Leash on Life, two animal rescue organizations that also happen to be winners of Nashville PAW Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award.

“This event is going to be epic,” said Tanya Willis, Director of Agape, who is excited to support the event’s 28th year running.  An estimated 300 – 500 participants are expected.

There is something for everyone at this event, and all skill levels are welcome to join.   For more information about courses, competitions and eligibility, visit The Original Mud Run event website.
