“Agape Animal Ball is a night to dress up, let loose, bid on luxury auction items, and raise a  cocktail in the air to celebrate the fact that more than 1,300 dogs are happy members of loving families because of Agape’s rescue and foster programs,” said Tanya Willis, founder and executive director of Agape Animal Rescue.
The Agape Animal Ball was introduced as a dream benefit idea by a longtime Agape volunteer in 2013. The event came into fruition that year and returned in 2016 where it developed into the organizations most supportive fundraiser in Agape’s fourteen-year history. Now with the support of corporate and local sponsorships, the Agape Animal Ball remains crucial as it typically raises enough funds for an entire year’s worth of animal healthcare and nutrition.
This year’s lead presenting sponsors include Tito’s Handmade Vodka in partnership with theirVodka For Dog People campaign and My Second Home Pet Resort & Spa.
In efforts to combat pet overpopulation and homelessness, Tito’s launched the Vodka For Dog People initiative in partnership with Emancipet, an non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas, to make spay/neuter services and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners in cities across the state and in regions they serve.
At My Second Home places the safety, security, and comfort of their fur-ball guests as their first priority. You’ll find all the comforts of home in the resort’s fully heated and air conditioned 18,000-square-foot dog and cat boarding facility in Franklin, TN. All of the luxurious boarding suites are built on raised floors and are provided fresh air by a system of filtration and additional ozone. The resort’s strict sanitation and housekeeping procedures ensure a clean and healthy environment and in the unlikely case of an emergency, an on-call vet is available 24/7. My Second Home also offers daycare, training, and spa packages.
